User interface (UI) design has evolved significantly over the past decade, driven by advancements in artificial intelligence (AI), augmented reality (AR), and human-computer interaction (HCI). As digital experiences become more immersive and personalized, researchers are exploring innovative ways to optimize usability, accessibility, and engagement. This article highlights recent breakthroughs in UI design, including adaptive interfaces, neuroadaptive systems, and multimodal interactions, while discussing their implications for future development.
Another notable advancement is the integration of affective computing, where UIs detect emotional states via facial recognition or biometric sensors to tailor responses (Picard, 2022).
